About Us

We’ve been in business helping homeowners with their landscaping projects for over 16 years.
Mulch Worx NW is a family-owned and operated company proudly servicing the Skagit Valley for over 16 years. Co-owner Erik Hibma started his first landscape maintenance company in 1999 to help pay his way through college where he obtained his degree in horticulture. In 2006 Erik was joined by his father Jay Hibma who had served as a general manager for a national horticulture supply company since 1990.

Based out of Sedro-Woolley Washington we provide complete professional landscaping service with a wide range of experience from large commercial projects to smaller custom jobs. Our expert services include lawn care design, irrigation services, hardscape, walls, drainage solutions, mitigation work and installation of everything from plants, trees and shrubs to low voltage lighting.

Our Trucks

Slinger Truck: Aggregate delivery and placement truck. Used for placement of rock/gravel, sand, soil, and other aggregates in hard to reach areas or for bulk placement.

Blower Truck: Our blower truck allows for precise placement of bark, mulch, compost and play chips, around and in flower beds and open areas such as playground. The blower truck has 250ft of 4-inch hose to ensure we can reach most areas.

How many inches of bark do I need?

1 inch= for touch up 2 inches= standard if you have existing bark 3 inches= if you have no bark and want weed control
